Selamfest is a relatively lesser-known religious and cultural festival in Prizren, Kosovo. Originating from an initiative by the “Arasta” association and in collaboration with the Prizren Islamic Community Council, this festival aims to address a perceived gap in promoting indigenous cultural values, contrasting with more internationally renowned events like Dokufest. The inaugural edition in 2019 focused on cultural authenticity and showcased various local artists and their works. Featuring activities such as book promotions, lectures on Islam, stand-up comedy, and performances by renowned artists like Mirush Kabashi, the festival garnered attention from both the local community and notable figures.
