Kosova, in the Balkans, spans 10,908 sq km, with Prishtina as the capital and 200,000 residents. The population is primarily Albanian (90%) with smaller Serb, Bosnian, Goran, RAI, and Turkish communities.
Kosova’s official currency is the Euro (€). Kosova functions as a multi-party parliamentary representative democratic republic. Its governance is guided by legislative, executive, and judicial institutions, all derived from the constitution.
Kosova shares borders with Serbia, North Macedonia, Albania, and Montenegro. In 2021, the population was around 1,774,000, and in 2023, life expectancy is 79.68 years. Kosovo follows Central European Time (CET; UTC+01:00).
